Job Description

Required education: Diploma/Certificate (minimum 2 – 5 years of education – secondary school / trade school)
Language: Must speak, read, write English
Salary: $22/hour (40 hours per week)
Required experience: 2+ years as a craftsperson
Required license or certification: yes

Openview Contracting is seeking 2 experienced craftspersons capable of:

• working unsupervised or as part of a team
• read and interpret drawing and specifications
• oral communication
• job task planning and organization
• manual dexterity
• hand-eye coordination

The successful candidate must know how to use specific hand tools and a number of power tools to create ornamental designs, custom made components for homes/institutions, use of different types of stone (rubaroc, Styrofoam, glazing materials, etc). The candidate must own tools and have a mode of transportation.
